Electrical machine at Teyler's Museum

Line drawing showing three figures of the electrostatic generator and associated conducting machinery designed by John Cuthbertson (bap.1743-d.1821) for Martin van Marum and installed at Teyler's Museum at Haarlem in the Netherlands. Including a plan view and detail of the conducting tubes. Plate 2 from Beschryving eene ongemeen groote electrizeer-machine geplaatst in Teyler's Museum...by Martinus van Marum (Haarlemn, 1785). The plate is inscribed 'Pl. II' and with figure numbers and key letters. The engraver is not credited. Martin van Marum was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1798.
