Portrait of John Phillips (1800-1874)
Three quarter length studio portrait of John Phillips, standing with his body turned to the left as viewed. His right hand is at his hip, the left holding a wooden chair back. Phillips is dressed in a dark jacket over a plaid waistcoat and trousers with a wide stripe. Arched gold surround, inscribed below in gold: "Photographed by MAULL & POLYBLANK, 55, Gracechurch Street and 187A Piccadilly, London." Signed below in ink "John Phillips 27 June 1860". John Phillips was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1834.

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
