Marine zoological studies of the crustaceans Nymphon gracile (figure 1) and Nymphon hirtum (figure 2). Plate 19 from The zoological miscellany; being a description of new, or interesting animals, by William Elford Leach, volume 1 (London, 1815). Figure 1 is described as simply: "Inhabits the British sea every where." T William Elford Leach (1790-1836) British naturalist was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1816.
