Plate 9 from Memoires pour server a l'histoire d'un genre de polypes d'eau douce...by Abraham Trembley (Leiden, 1744). The plate is inscribed: "P. Lyonet delin. et sculp. 1743." The Swiss natural historian Abraham Trembley (1710-1784) was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1743.
