Wooden rulers from Woolsthorpe
Two wooden rulers supposedly made from an ancient apple tree at Woolsthorpe Manor, Isaac Newton's family home. An inscription on the rulers reads 'Made of the Wood of Sir Isaac Newton's Apple Tree at Woolsthorpe Lincolnshire'. Underneath this phrase are the initials 'C. T.' which stands for Charles Turnor.
