Plate 3 figure 21 from TraitÃš de l ÃšlectricitÃš et du magnÃštisme...Atlas... by Antoine CÃšsar Becquerel (Paris, 1840). The plate is headed "TROMBES" and inscribed "Dessine par M.Bevalet. GravÃš par Paul Legrand." Antoine CÃšsar Becquerel (1788-1878) was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1837.
