V.15 Nebula passing through Kappa Cygni
Plate 11 figure 33 for the paper "Observations of nebulae and clusters of stars, made at Slough, with a twenty-feet reflector, between the years 1825 and 1833", by Sir John Frederick William Herschel, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, v.123 (1833), pp.359-505. The object is illustrated with a scale of 0-30 minutes to the right, not on the published plate, in which the orientation of the whole drawing was changed. Inscribed verso, in pencil, "The nebula passing through k Cygni. The large double star in k. There are innumerable stars in the neighbourhood, and perhaps also some in the nebula not laid down." With right ascension and North polar distance. Dated in pencil "Sweeps 198,199 and Drawing Nov 25 1832.
