The plate is inscribed: "Nouv. Annales du Museum 1835. Pl: 24. PrÃžtre pinxt. Impr: Lith. De Thierry Freres. Franke delt. 1. Cyclura acanthura. 2. Callysaurus draconoides." Henri Marie Ducrotay de Blainville (1777-1850), French zoologist and anatomist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1832.
