'The Southern Moticella'
Ornithological study of what may be the Eastern Yellow Robin (Eopsaltria australis) native to Australia. Plate 28 from Journal of a voyage to New South Wales...by John White (J.Debrett, London, 1790). The accompanying text states that: "It is not perhaps absolutely clear whether this bird should be referred to the genus Motacilla...The bird is about the size of the ...yellow wagtail" The plate is inscribed: "S.Stone Delin. The Southern Motacilla, London Published as the Act directs Dec: 29, 1789, by I.Debrett."
