Two figures of a growth removed by surgery and dissected. Inscribed below: "A mole from Mrs G. of Swaffham drawn by C.B.Rose. In figure 2 the umbilical vesicule is shown. Figure 1 exhibits the unopened mass - compressed placenta." The naturalist and geologist Caleb Burrell Rose practised as a surgeon in Swaffham, Norfolk, 1816-c.1859.
