Illustrated by four drawings made on the spot a few days after the storm", by Edward Edwards. Landscape showing an uprooted walnut tree in a field near to the seat of Lady Eagleton being inspected by three gentlemen in period dress, two carrying walking sticks, a third holding a riding whip. The painting is initialled lower left "E.E. 1780" and the mount is inscribed lower right "No.1". October 1780.
