Snowflakes drawn and described by Leonard Stocke as falling between 2 January and 1 March 1740 and 25 December to the 31 December 1740 at Middelburg, Zeeland, in the Netherlands. Figures 1-24 appended to a letter from Leonard Stocke, Middelburg, 29 June 1741, to Cromwell Mortimer. Not published in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. Leonard Stocke was not a Fellow of the Royal Society.
