Half length portrait with natural hair, powdered and curled, wearing a dark coat with two rows of buttons over a light waistcoat and neck-cloth. Inscribed "Kriehuber 856 Gedr. b. J.Hofelichs Wwe KARL HAIDINGER. Geboren zu Wien am 10 Juli 1756 gestorben zu Wien am 16 Marz 1797, als referirender Bergrath bei der k: k: Hofkammer im Munz und Bergwesen. Erinnerungsblatt an die hundertste Wiederkehr seines Geburtstages am 10 Juli 1856 nach einam Miniaturgemalde". Karl Haidinger was not elected a Fellow of the Royal Society.
