She is dressed in a full, light-coloured dress with a patterned hem, a wide belt and buttoned bodice. She wears ribbons in her hair. Printed below the image: "MAULL & Co. LONDON". The reverse is variously inscribed: printed "MAULL & Co. PHOTOGRAPHERS. 187A PICCADILLY W. 82 CHEAPSIDE EC. TAVISTOCK HOUSE, FULHAM ROAD. LONDON." Florence Baker was the wife of Sir Samuel White Baker FRS (1821Ã»1893).
