La Poussiére de la Grenadille [Passion flower pollen] and commences: ‘Cette estampe donne une des Fleurs les plus belles & les plus agréable, qui est la Grenadille... [This print gives one of the most beautiful & pleasant flowers, the Grenadilla]. The sweet Grenadilla Passiflora ligularis is one variety of this plant.
Martin Frobene [Frobenius] Ledermuller (1719-1769) German naturalist was employed in various capacities as a notary, turning to microscope studies after an illness induced temporary deafness.
