Unpublished illustrations, apparently intended for the paper "On the fire-damp of coal mines, and on methods of lighting the mines so as to prevent its explosion", by Humphry Davy, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.106 (1816), pp.1-22. A slip of paper with safety lamp designs attached to a single page of text (original pagination "21"), the latter endorsed "London Novr. 9 1815".
