Two studies of fish observed by William Dampier during his voyage to Australia [New Holland] in 1699. Figure 1 [inscribed "F.5"] captioned: "A Fish of the Tunny [Tuna] kind taken on the Coast of N.Holland." Figure 2 [Inscribed "F4"] captioned: "A Fish called by the seamen the Old Wife [Triggerfish?]." Plate 3 facing p.113 in: A voyage to New-Holland, &c. In the Year 1699...by William Dampier; within volume 3 of A collection of voyages..., by William Dampier et.al., 4 volumes, (London, James and John Knapton, 1729).
