Lobster egg development
Embryological studies of the lobster, showing stages of development from egg to fry with some structural details. Plate 3 figures 1-17 from the monograph Entwicklung des hummereies von den ersten veranderungen im dotter an bis zur reife des embryo, by M.P.Erdl (Munich, 1843). The accompanying list of figures of the marine crustacean is headed: "Hummereier aus verschiedenen Entwicklungsstadien" [Lobster eggs at various stages of development]. Not signed or inscribed. Michel Pius Erdl was a Professor at the University of Munich.
