Panaoramic view of Tarawera Range, captioned on a tissue overlay. Central caption reads "Commencement of the Great Fissure in the South End of Tarawera Range." Other features indicated on the overlay are Te-Hape-o-toroa, Mount Hazard and Okaro Lake, near which is the south end of the great fissure.
