Female bufflehead
Ornithological study of a female bufflehead, Bucephala albeola, referred to here as Anas minor, shown alongside a specimen of soap tree, Alphitonia excels. Its body is brown and it has a large, rounded head, with a distinctive white patch on its cheek.
Signed and inscribed below: 'Anas minor.'
