English Iris

Botanical study of the flower of the cultivated 'English Iris' Iris xiphiodes, with a section through the flower. Inscribed below in pencil: 'Iris xiphioides (x1 1/2) Large Garden Form. A.H.Church delt. July 7 1907.' Arthur Harry Church was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1921.
