Electrical machine and Leyden jar batteries at Teyler's Museum
Study of the augmented electrostatic generator with batteries of Leyden jars. The original machine was designed by John Cuthbertson (bap.1743-d.1821) for Martin van Marum and installed at Teyler's Museum at Haarlem in the Netherlands. Plate 5 from Tweede vervolg der proefneemingen gedaan met Teyler's electrizeer-machine by Martinus van Marum (Haarlemn, 1795). The plate is inscribed "Pl.V. W. Hendriks, delin. B: de Bakker fecit." Martin van Marum was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1798.
