Zoological study of a tufted capuchin Cebus apella native to South America. The animal is shown in profile, sitting on a tree branch and holding a fruit. Plate 21 from The natural history of monkeys, by Sir William Jardine (Edinburgh, 1833) The Naturalist's Library. Mammalia. Vol.1. Referred to in the text as "The Horned Sapajou". The plate is inscribed: "PLATE 20. CEBUS FATUELLUS."
