'Cuprum arseniatum'
Specimen of Liroconite [?] here termed 'arseniate of copper' with figures showing the crystalline form. Plate 37 from British mineralogy: or coloured figures intended to elucidate the mineralogy of Great Britain, by James Sowerby, volume 1 (London, R.Taylor & Co., 1804). The accompanying text states that "This beautiful variety is described by Count Bournon in the Philosophical Transactions for 1801..." [Jacques-Louis, Comte de Bournon FRS (1751-1825)]. The plate is inscribed: "Augt. 1 1803. Published by Jas. Sowerby, London."
