Instrument for perspective drawing
Plate 13 figure 1 from the paper "Sketches and descriptions of three simple instruments for drawing architecture and machinery in perspective", by James Peacock, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.75 (1785), pp.366-371. Instrument designed to prick holes in paper to coincide with points and angles on an original object being drawn. The instrument also enables the user to draw resulting perpendicular lines using a steel slider. Inscribed in ink "Fig. 1" and in pencil and ink above with publication details. Not signed.
