Plate 11 from the paper "An account of the discovery of a mass of native iron in Brazil", by A F Mornay, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.106 (1816), pp.270-280. Plan and elevation line drawings of the "native iron" a large metallic meteorite from which Mornay took specimens. The drawings are inscribed above with publication and plate details and with a production note below: "These figures are to be a little reduced, to accomodate them to the usual size of the Plates in the Phil. Trans." Not signed. Royal Society stamp verso. Watermarked "Pine & Thomas 1812."
