Mormodes pardine
Botanical illustration of Mormodes maculate here styled Mormodes pardine or leopard-like Mormodes orchid. A single specimen showing a pseudo-bulbous stem, issuing long thin leaves along its length arranged alternately and sheathed at the base. The old stems shown with the sheathing dried, papery and spikey. A single scape issues from the base, curved down to the left and bearing several yellow flowers with dark leopard-like spots, with semi open petals.
