Two studies of marine creatures observed by William Funnell (active early 18th century) sailor and explorer. Figure 1 captioned: "A Shark drawn on his back, being the posture he is in when he takes his prey, his mouth not appearing in any other posture." Figure 2 captioned: "2 Dolphins."
