Anatomical diagrams showing the disposition of the chief nerves and ganglia in scorpions. Figure 2 is based upon the anatomy ofAndroctonus funestus (Androctonus australis). Figure 3 indicates the main features of Scorpio cyaneus, and other tropical species. Figure 4 is reproduced from Leon Dufour’s description of the European and North African yellow scorpion Buthus occitanus, here designated Androctonus occitanus.
