Bony core of the left horn from a bos [eg Bos taurus, cattle] found at Oreston quarry, near Plymouth in Devon. Inscribed with publication and plate details and a pencil note, left: "Bos Page 9. Bony core of the left horn and a small part of the Skull seen from behind. It is the middle sized specimen and most perfect of the three. Fig.4."
