Head and shoulders portrait of George Edwards in an oval, acanthus-decorated frame. Edwards is shown in a medium-length wig, eyes directed at the viewer, his body angled to the left. Inscribed below: 'GEORGIUS EDWARDS R.S.S. Aetat: Suae: 60 AD 1754. Nat. Mar. 23 April 3. Dandridg Pinx: J.S.Miller Sculp:' Frontispiece to Gleanings of natural history, exhibiting figures of quadrupeds, birds, insects, plants, &c..., by George Edwards, volume 1 (London, for the author, 1758).

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
