The object is illustrated with a scale of 0-30 minutes to the right, not on the published plate, in which the orientation of the whole drawing was changed. Inscribed verso, in pencil, "The nebula passing through k Cygni. The large double star in k. There are innumerable stars in the neighbourhood, and perhaps also some in the nebula not laid down." With right ascension and North polar distance. Dated in pencil "Sweeps 198,199 and Drawing Nov 25 1832.
